330ml bottle [(5.4% abv) in unlimited debt of gratitude towards you, Maddie!]. Milky, yellow-ish, bright golden colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately to mostly lasting, slightly lacing, snow-white head. Fruity and spicy yeasty aroma, notes of apricot, mirabelle, nectarine, some quince, hints of white pepper, a touch of coriander, coriander seed, mild floral overtones. Taste is dry hoppy, slightly fruity and spicy yeasty, hints of apricot and mirabelle, a touch of quince, grapefruit, kumquat and orange zest, some white pepper and coriander; dry, minimally tart finish, smooth and soft palate. Refreshing, thereby rich and diversified - excellent "gentrified PoMo Saison", as bartlebier would term it.

Keg at the earl of Essex. 4.5%. Very pale yellow coloured pour with a light haze and a lasting sticky thin white head. Aroma is straw, zippy lemon, subdued Belgian yeast character. Flavour is composed of damp hay, rustic grains, saison yeast, lemon, little tangy lemon rind. Carbonic acid bite in the finish. Palate is light and spritzy, high carbonation. Little abrasive on the tongue. Crisp and refreshing . little lingering spicy hop. Nice light refreshing saison.

Keg at Hops and Glory, 22/05/15. Hazed golden blonde with a decent off white cap that retains well. Nose is citric peel, lemon rind, stale bread, light hop presence, tangerine. Taste comprises yeast esters, bread dough, pissy tones, straw, lemon rind, funky. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a floral hop trace. Decent enough saison.

On tap at Hops & Glory. Gold lasting white head. Saison yeast aroma and flavour. Some hop pines like dried hop flowers . OK. A little thin sweet. Not as good as the Saison dupont.

Keg at Hops & Glory. It pours hazy pale gold with a decent white head. The nose is earthy, farmyard, manure, dirt, orange peel and candy. The taste is crisp, pepper, lemon peel, mild icing sugar, cracker, white bread, spice, hay and barnyard with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. A respectable saison.

Tap at brewpub. Slightly hazy yellow color, small white head. Lemony, citrusy aroma. Light-bodied. Crisp. Citrusy, wheaty flavor. Light Saison tartness. Very nice refreshing summer drink. Even lighter than its abv indicates. Good.

Keg at the Hops and Glory - London. Pours clear yellow, effervescent, with a creamy white head. The aroma holds flaked wheat, straw, lemon zest, faint yeast. Medium sweet flavor with some sugary white bread, wheat, faint hitter straw, lemon, sourdough, hay. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes somewhat sweet, somewhat refreshing, with some crackers, pale bread, crunchy straw, understated saison yeast, mellow pine needles. Nicely drying, pretty well balanced.
