jet black pour, beige head. Aroma of soy, deep roasted malts, and a touch of toasted sesame. Solid mouthfeel, good carb. deep roasted finish, nice soy. good example of the style.

Sampled at the Loon. Pours a dark brown colour with copper highlights, a beige head and decent lacing. Roasted malt aromas with mild coffee and chocolate notes. Light sourness at first, roasted malt lingers in the aftertaste. Hints of hops and even vanilla. Not bad, but not sure if a little infected with the light sourness. This kind of puts this brew down.

A reddish copper brown lager with a thin mocha head. In aroma,, sweet nutty caramel malt with light grassy hops, light coffee grind, light nutty notes, OK. In mouth, a nutty caramel malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, light herbaceous character, smooth and quaffable. On tap at Arrow and Loon.
