Draught at Novare Res, 12/29/17.
Bright copper-cantaloupe, moderate-to-low haze and a foamy, off-white head atop showing moderately-strong retention.
Peachy hops give way to moderately funky Brett with a pinch of wood, biscuit and light caramel malt behind it. Elegant and not muddled, nor trying to do too much. Perfume-floral character pushes the boundaries of being too dry/sharp but enough fruity, lightly juicy character is present to balance it.
In the mouth it's definitely more of a sour than an IPA, with low, minimally bitter hop notes yielding peach, tangerine juice and soft floral notes. Tight, moderate carbonation, good dryness and a soft-to-lightly grainy texture. Lovely stuff, very light and incredibly drinkable. No sharpness or big sourness lingering.

750 corked and capped bottle given to me as a gift. The pour is hazed orange copper with a foamy, well formed white head. The aroma is leather, funk, leafy and floral. The taste is the leather funk right away, followed close behind with the floral, leafy and picking up a nice citrus base that wasn’t in the nose. The palate is medium bodied with natural carbonation and a lingering funk. Well executed Brett beer.
