A light yellow beer, a head is small and white. Aroma has light malts, some grass, slightly aromatic, pure. Taste is strongly malty, quite mild bitterness that is still long, some grass. Medium bodied, slightly harsh carbonation. Very simple pils, strong maltyness and mild bittterness.

500ml bottle. Clear pale golden colour, thin creamy long-lasting white head that. Grassy, hoppy aroma with some malts, sweetish flavour. A dry and rather bitter finish.

Aspecto de pilsen típica. Muy clara. Aroma delicado a malta. Sabor agradable, sin destacar especialmente. Una buena pilsen, sin más, bebible y menos amarga que la media.

Draft in Mohringen. Clear pale yellow color, medium white head. Aroma of paper. Taste is slightly bitter straw.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Boulder Liquor Mart. Clear golden appearance with an off white head. Skunk nose - some grain, lemon, sweet, husky grain. Moderate high bitterness. Moderate sweetness. A little metallic, slightly oxidized, sweet husky flavor. I’ve never found a fresh bottle of this in the US.

Bottle @ Zum alten Markt, Roetgen. Blond colour, white foam. Medium carbonation. Light sweet and malty, bitter hoppy finish. Easy drinkable and refreshing. Not bad.

Keg at the Flying Pig, Cambridge. Oh the curse of the rater: some delicious ales tonight but I’m drinking this. Mid gold, clear with plentiful carbonation. Thinnish white film of head. Smells like wet cardboard with a bit of piss. Pissed-on-by-a-sick dog cardboard? Taste is saccharin with an acrid note. Body is fine but my oh my this is a hard sell.
