Cask at Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden. Pours very dark brown with a small head. Aroma is bitter coffee. Taste has light coffee and chocolate, with some fruity hops in the finish.

Very dark brown, ruby edges, thin beige head
Aroma of nice soft roast, no coffee or burnt notes
Taste of nice sweet dark malts, quite rich malts, no dry ash shite, dab of dark bitter choc, very good flavour
Palate - Medium body, bit sticky, fairly sweet, light bitter roast. Finish of soft bitter roast
Overall - Really nice porter

Cask (gravity) @ NBF 2016 [ The 41th. Nottingham Beer Festival (The 9th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival) ], Nottingham Castle, Friar Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EB. [ As Errant Comanche Porter ].Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, caramel, light chocolate. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20161014] 7-3-7-3-14

Cask gravity at Reading BF 2017. Black beer lasting tan head. Cold not great condition. Mostly dark chocolate a little harsh a little liquorice or molasses. A third of a pint was clearly enough.

Cask at the Craft Beer Co, High Holborn, London. Pours chestnut brown with a lasting creamy beige head. Aroma of light roasting, malt, toffee, chocolate, nut and dark fruit. Toward heavy sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, slight sticky texture, soft to average carbonation. Finish is sweet and smooth. Very nice.

Cask at the Nags Head, Reading. A cola coloured pour with a tight caramel head; sweet aroma with traces of rum and oak; sugary in the mouth, without being over sweet; well balanced with red fruit and some woody hops, giving a long bittersweet finish. A good Porter.

Cask at the Stockbridge tap... Dark black.. Thin tan lacing... Soft sweet toffee chocolate.. Soft toffee fruit malts nose.. Soft sweet floral toffee fruit.. Light caramel Roast

Cask at The Stockbridge Tap. Dark brown body with a tight beige head. Good lacing. Aroma of burnt toast, toffee, dark chocolate and blueberries. Flavour of woody malt and creamy chocolate with a tart berry edge. Thin body with a light, smooth mouthfeel. Soft prickle of carbonation. Well rounded and easy drinking.

Cask at the Guildford arms. Pours black, nose is chocolate, liquorice, toffee, taste is sweet, liquorice, creamy chocolate and coffee.
