Growler from the brewery. Golden pour, small white head. Light grassy hops, with some subtle cardamon, and cinnamon. Thin mouth feel, good carb. The finish is peppery with some good spicing. Lots of baking spices, but they aren’t over powering. Decent.

Pours a slight hazed golden colour with a white creamy head, average retention and decent lacing. Aromas of cinnamon with orange notes. Mild spicy taste (cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger) with some light grain that lingers. Hints of soapy hops in the finish. A nice milder version of a Christmas Ale that goes down nicely, but nothing too crazy. Good for beginners, for the style.

Pretty light. Some light cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg. Pours cloudy light orange with good head and lacing. Finishes a little sour and a little sweet. Watery consistency, light palate. Tap at Brother’s Beer bistro.

A pale golden beer with a thin white head. In aroma, buttery malt with cinnamon and nutmeg. In mouth, a sweet creamy mix of cinnamon, creamed corn, very sweet and cloying. On tap at Patty’s, Dec. 10 2011.
