Bottle. Black beer with a reddish tinge. The aroma is well roasted with a coffee edge, and the flavour is bitter and coffee bean roasted. Overall a nice roasted flavoured beer.

Cask@Southampton Arms. Deep amber colour, not much head. Aroma is roasted malts, quite nutty along iwth some caramel malts and mild earthyness. Flavour is fruits, roasted malts, some earth and mild nuttyness. Pleasant, but a bit thin on the palate.
