[ As West Coast Beersmiths The Quadra Hop ].Clear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, moderate to light heavy hoppy, citrus, pine, resin, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, fruity malt, pine, resin, fruity hops, hoppy. Draft @ Malmö Öl & Whisky Festival 2017. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity malty citrus hoppy bitter flavor. Has a fruity malty grapefruit hoppy bitter finish.

Flaska från SB. Mörkt gyllengul, relativt klar, lågt skum. Ganska anonym doft som utvecklas något med högre temp. Doft av kådig mango, söt övermogen tropisk frukt, resin och syltig citrus. Ganska rå smak som är besk, oljig, söt och fruktig (i den ordningen). Ganbska rå och opolerad. Det är maffigt men inte riktigt min kopp men så klart kul att ett stabilt svenskt bryggeri spänner musklerna.

(330ml bottle from Systembolaget web order) ~6wk old at time of drinking. Pours a nearly clear dark gold with a tiny white head. Aroma is sweet and somewhat resinous, not dank at all. Notes of sweet orange, grapefruit pulp, citrus preserves, light pale pit fruit, grass, sugary notes are pronounced but caramel quality fairly light, a little floral. Flavour is bitter citrus oils, peppery and herbal hops, cedar needles, light orange candy and peach, caramel sweetness. The bitter citrus oil and peppery hops take over more in the finish, resin is apparent, a touch of drying alcohol to offset the clean sweet malt. It’s not aggressively bitter in absolute terms but dominated by bitter and spicy notes anyway. Medium bodied, low carbonation. I liked the two Monohops I tried more, I think. Not as wild about the hop character here - maybe the Equinox?

33 cl bottle on April 19, 2017.Hazy golden color, white head. Malty, citrus, hoppy, caramel scent. Sweet, caramel, hoppy taste. Warming alcohol. Full mouthfeel, low CO2, medium bitterness. A bit cloying.
