Bursting with bold tropical flavours of grapefruit, passion fruit, apricot and peach, this unfiltered IPA, which takes its inspiration from the New England IPA style, is an attack on the senses. A carefully chosen hop blend provides an intense citrus aroma while adding a well-balanced yet mild bitterness. Malts are combined to deliver a smooth mouthfeel.

500ml bottle; BB 28th Jul 2020. Drank at anchor off Guernsey on 9th Sep 2019. Amber with a white crown. Tropical fruits in the nose and taste, with some decent maltiness as a base for the citrusy fruits to attack. Hops win.

Bottle, 0.50l. Aroma of stone fruit, cereals, rice and ripe tropical fruit. Pours cloudy dark brown color with medium sized frothy off-white head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts medium sweet grainy with stone fruity note, following is medicinal, caramelly and grassy with smooth mouthfeel and average bitter finish. Medium body, creamy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Too much pronounced maltiness kills hoppiness...

RB backlog, Bevog Festival 2018. Citric, slightly tropical, herbal, with some caramel. Lightly sweet, medium bitter. Slick with soft carbonation. Wait - this is supposed to be NEIPA-inspired? It's as classic as it can get.
