Anbefalt serveringstemperatur: 8° C. Ufiltrert.

Mørk brun med høyt lys brunt skum. Lukter mørkt brød, sirup, havre, nøtter og noe animalsk. Middels pluss i fylde.

On tap at Både&. A brown, mostly clear looking, with a small, beige head. Malty, earthy and bready aroma with caramel and some dried fruits. Even some fresh fruits and pine cones. It’s medium to full bodied, smoothly carbonated and semi dry, with a decent bitterness. Earthy, musty flavour with pine cones, some grapefruit and juniper berries. Some caramel and a roasted touch too. Long piney, earthy finish. Quite pleasant, but not a beer for a long drinking session. 170419

Nice slightly fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry mineraly, weeds, old leafs, hay, minerals, roasted grain, bark, old lawn, toast, paper, tiny hints of sulfur. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish mineraly, leafs, weeds, minerals, herbs, roasted grain, bark, pine needles, moss, hay, yeast, toast, grass. Medium bitterness, dry mineraly mouthfeel. Fair enough.

On tap @ Både &. Unclear brown body with a small, lacing off-white head. Aroma is kinda fruity with bread, toast and yeast. Flavor is balanced sweet malt, toast, fruity yeast and umami. I can’t say that kveik was the first thing on my mind when tasting this, but it’s a fine and balanced brew with some kind of not-funky, robust farmhouse association.

Medium beige lasting head. Hazy deep dark red still body. Fruity lingonberry aroma with earthy funky notes. Sweet toasty earthy taste with lingonberry notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, mealy mouthfeel with low carbonation. Dryish roasty earthy mealy aftertaste with licorice and toast notes. It’s a good, but I don’t really taste the kveik very much.
