Cask (handpump) @ Four Thieves, 51 Lavender Gardens, Battersea, Greater London, England SW11 1DJ. [ As Laine’s Extra Special ].Clear medium red amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, fruity malt, caramel, light bread - nutty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20150805] 6-3-6-3-12

Cask at the brew pub, 22/09/15. Chestnut brown with a well presented beige covering. Nose is earthy dark fruits, brown sugar, light tobacco, fruit cake. Taste comprises biscuit malt, dark fruits, toffee, orchard fruit. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close with a light bittering finale. Ok ESB.

Cask at the brewpub Four Thieves in Battersea, shared by Stefan. Clear copper coloured body, no head no lace. Subdued aroma of dough and dark fruits. Taste of nuts, dark dough and spices. Sourish to the ending. About drinkable, to be polite (London 12.07.2015).

Cask handpull at the four thieves pub. Dark copper coloured pour, little viscous, fleeting off white head. Aroma is raisin, tart fruit, golden syrup sugars. Flavour is composed of tart berry, dried fruits, toffee, unrefined sugars. Palate is medium sweet, low carbonation. Little sticky on the tongue. OK but the tartness is a little off putting.
