Our all new Benelux IPA is a Trappist inspired beer brewed with an Abbeye yeast strain giving full fruity yeast esters. Dry hopped with Citra and Simcoe for notes of grapefruit and papaya. NEON VELO is our tribute to the cycling and beer utopia that is the Lowlands of Holland, Belgium and Luxembourg.

Can from That Beer Place, Chester. Pours hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of coconut and melon. Taste adds guava and peach. Coconut linger. Bit sweet.

Can at home in Hackney - sourced from All Good Beer. Pours mostly clear honey-gold with a small, creamy white head. Medium sweet flavour with pleasant dankness, melon, grapefruit, light yeast, pine, orange rind. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, some papaya, more citrus fruits, some pissy dankness, a little wheat, pine, more melon, a hint of white grape. A lot going on, and it all hangs together well. Sound.

440 ml can, from Seven Cellars. ABV is 6.7%. Pale golden colour, only the slightest haziness. Large white head. Aroma of citrus and spicy trappist ale yeast - an unexpected but nice combination. The mouthfeel is maybe a bit thin for its strength. The flavour has again citrus and spicy Belgian ale yeast, also hints of tropical fruits. Slightly sweet start, dry finish - and the bitterness is moderate.
