Draught @ [ DØE - Ølfestival København 2017 ] @ Lokomotivværkstedet, Otto Busses Vej 5A, 2450 Copenhagen SV, Denmark. [ As Dahls Beta Skatval ].Clear medium amber colour with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, meat, smoke, sweet malt, sweet meat - smoke. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, smoke, meat, sweet malt, dark malt, wood. Body is medium, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is soft. [20170519] 5-3-5-3-9

DØE. Hazy brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, dark bread and smoked meat. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish with a little warming alcohol. 190517

From tap. Pours clear and golden amber with a small tan head. Aroma is smoked, wooden and meaty. Sweet, wooden, smoked and slight meaty. Dense malty and lingering smoked and meaty into the far finish.

On tap at Ramp, Trondheim. Slightly hazy dark caramel brown with a rather modest off-white head. Mild smokey aroma with dark malts, dark fruits, caramel, some vinous notes and hints of wood. Medium sweet, surprisingly smooth and easy to drink despite the high ABV. Mild, but complex flavours and a fine bitterness too. Nice one!
