Nürnberg und sein Umland galten bereits im frühen Mittelalter als Hochburg der Rotbiere. Diese Tradition wird mit dem Veldensteiner Rotbier gepflegt und fortgesetzt. Seit Generationen privat gebraut im Veldensteiner Land. Fränkische Spezialmalze, die bei höheren Temperaturen gedarrt wurden, sorgen für rötliche Farbreflexe und einen barocken, kernigen Körper sowie eine herausragende Vollmundigkeit.

Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Clear rust colour, small head. Aromatic, toasty malt up front. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel, Spicy grains, roasty and aromatic. Floral hops. Mid bitter finish.

Rojiza, limpia, brillante. De abundante espuma blanquecina de retención media. Aroma malteado, notas de frutas del bosque. Ligera y punzante de gas, algo mas de la cuenta quizás. Tono seco, amargor escaso/moderado. Buen sabor, malteado y con notas de cereza.

Klare kupferrote Farbe; stabile, überwiegend feinporige Schaumkrone. In der Nase malzbetont, fruchtig mit roten Beeren, Honig, leicht röstmalzig. Im Geschmack kraftvoll und aromatisch, sehr malzig, deutliche Hopfenbittere, relativ kräftiger Körper, trocken mit ganz dezenter Süße, schöne Frische und sehr süffig. Insgesamt ein absolut überzeugendes Rotbier.

Copper/ amber with a tan head. Notes of toasted malts, light roasted bits, and light berry fruit. Finish has a nice and deep toasted malt profile. Medium bodied. A nice beer.

Clear lighter red amber. Aroma is light malt honey chestnut faint noble hops. Taste is very well balanced malts, sweet fruity, light cherry, cake dough with good bitter counterweight. Rich body and still not heavy. Good stuff!

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear amber with a creamy, beige head. Biscuity, toffeeish malt aroma. Medium body, again biscuit and toffee, perhaps a bit tpasted but not overly sweet. Very subdued bitterness. Clean and well crafted. 190924
