A limited release designed for Oktoberfest, this unfiltered, cloudy kellerbier challenges traditionally bright lagers. Featuring toasted cereal and honey notes upfront, creamy smooth mouthfeel, and crisp, refreshing bitterness to finish. Prost!

11/3/2023. Can shared at our hotel in Rugby. Bought direct from the Brewery. Pours almost clear pale golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma is grainy, malty, citrus. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Oily and watery, quite fizzy. Okay.

330ml can bought from the brewery and drunk at home. Lightbyellow and cloudy with a thick but quickly dissipating white head. Light yeasty notes on the aroma, some citrus and some grassy notes. Taste is well balanced, not overly sweet like some Kellerbiers, with a fairly pronounced bitterness in the finish. Medium to heavy carbonation lift the light oily body. Pretty good.
