Bottle shared courtesy of Grumbo with ITFCDan. Aroma of coconut, licorice, cocoa, dried fruits, roasted malts, treacle and tar. Taste is chocolate, licorice, raisins, with a roasted finish. Very nice.

30/3/2024. Bottle shared with ITFCDan. From CentrAle, Newcastle. Pours close to black with a small beige head. Aroma is roasted, chocolate, caramel, waxy coconut, red wine, berries, liquorice, vanilla. Medium sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness, hint of tart. Medium body, smooth, soft carbonation.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - deep brown to black. Tan head. Nose - roast and dry fruit. Taste - creamy caramel and sweet milk chocolate. Brandy balls. Roast and raisins. Palate - creamy and medium bodied. Roasty and sweet at the same time. Overall - great stuff.

Bottle at ash's. Pours black, nose is chocolate, caramel, oak, vanilla, taste is similar, woody, some soy, a little boozy.

Bottle from Appellation Wines, cheers Ash! Pours dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of liquorice, tar, leather, wood, coffee. Taste is more oak, tar, prunes, liquorice again. Complex.
