Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, reddish amber with only a thin, off-white film of a head. Very strong, spicy aroma, you really can smell this from afar. Especially the clove/coriander combo comes through really strong. Rich, sweet, delicious plummy body, lots of raisin, figs and the lot here. Warming alcohol. Actually super delicious – as an Xmas beer. A Spring beer it is certainly not. Which makes me wonder if it could be a re-labelled Xmas beer, Ulvrun perhaps – although I haven’t tried them side by side. 120619

Bottle at KØ17. Spicy and medicinal aroma. Hazy brown colour. Spicy and medicinal flavour as well. Sweetish. Sort of a Christmas beer with too many spices. Not very well-balanced.
