Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Cork & Cask. Pours slightly hazed gold with a billowing, frothy, pure white head. Lovely aroma, some funk, lemon rind, damp hay, pale wood. Lightly sweet with assertive grassy bitterness, a little plastic, some further musty funk, lemon rind, apple peel. Light bodied with delicate, massaging carbonation. Fairly bitter to finish, a little oaky dryness, background dry funk, grass, straw. Nice overall though the bitterness is a little too forward for my liking.

Bottle from Premier Hop. It pours hazy blonde with a medium frothy white head. The aroma is fragrant wood, balsa, oak, hay, floral accents, old leather armchair, medicinal, twist of citrus, hay and some orchard fruits. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, pleasing bitterness, grassy, rich earthy character, dried leaves, dry oak, deep funk, brett, floral, leather, chewy, some spice, medicinal and damp basement with a drying, funky oak finish. Medium body and moderate, massaging carbonation. Good depth of flavour to this. Medicinal character will definitely split the crowd. Unique and satisfying.
