From tap at Borefts 2017. Aroma has lots of hibiscus and tart red fruits, with some rather unpleasant notes of rubber and burning plastic. Flavour is nicely sour. Body is medium. Weird thing about those off-flavours... A number of people picked up rubber in the aroma on day 1 of Borefts, but looking at the other ratings I guess this problem was 'corrected' later on? As it stands, I cannot rate it any higher than this.

Keg at Borefts Day 1 22/09/2017. A light hazed red pink coloured pour with a loose pink head. Aroma is funky sour, tangy, plum, raspberry, mixed berries. Flavour is composed of sour woody, tangy, plum, tart grape, sour funk. Palate is tart tangy sour, highish carbonation.

From tap @ Borefts 2017. Blonde. Floral, citric, slightly perfumed aroma and flavor. Maraschino cherries. Rounded sours. Nice.

Borefts IX. Day 1. Keg. Hazy reddish - orange - pink beer, small pink head. Light dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Modest lemony sharpness. Touch of soap. Generic fruits before a dry sharp finish. Approachable but a little odd.

Draught @ 9th. BBF 2017 [ 9th Borefts Beer Festival 2017 ] @ Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As Bakunin Hibiscus Lambic ].Unclear - hazy matt medium red colour with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, hibiscus, berry, fruity, flowers, plastic notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, hibiscus, flowers, funky, tart, medicine notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170922] 6-3-7-3-13
