Cask at Picture House, Stafford Pours a golden yellow with a tight white head and good lacing. Has a vague musty, malty aroma. In the mouth the texture is smooth and creamy, with flavour being citrus-led. Lemongrass and some grapefruit together with malts. Finish is slightly bitter. A good no-nonsense drinking beer.

On cask at the White Lady. Appearance - amber rather than golden. Creamy white head. Nose - white grape and kiwi. Taste - more grape and kiwi with zingy grapefruit or lime closing out the finish. Palate - light bodied, creamy texture. Balanced bitterness on the finish. Overall - very nice.

Handpull cask at the Globe, Leicester. Light gold and very clear. Tiny bit of foamy white head. Lemon/lime, hay and toast in the aroma. Sweet buttery taste. Slightly astringent finish. Not really my thing.

Pint in the Bon Accord in Glasgow. Pale yellow, thin creamy head. Smells citrusy and it’s lemon that comes through initially in the flavour. It keeps that tang but sort of mellows into a more general fruity flavour, balanced a bit by hop.
