Draught @ 9th. BBF 2017 [ 9th Borefts Beer Festival 2017 ] @ Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As HaandBryggeriet / Bakunin Varanger Fjord ].Unclear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, blueberry - dark berries. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, roasted, blueberries, dark malt, butterscotch - fudge, tart notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20170922] 7-4-7-3-15

Coal black liquid with thick nice beige head. Ok lacing. Looks nice. Decent intensity in the aroma. Medium to full body. Soft carbonation level. Pleasant and easy to drink. A bit oily texture. Chocolate, coffee, toffee and a fine fruity backbone. Nice tasty stuff.

01.09.2017, 0,33l bottle sampled @ Bergen �lfestival:
Small light brown fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet mineraly, dark malts, sweet licorice, grass, dark sugar, hay, minerals, alcohol, berry skin, paper, weeds, dark forest berries. Taste is slightly dry boozy, weeds, minerals, alcohol, bark, oak, grass, hay, heather, berry skin, paper, sawdust, dark forest berries. Medium bitterness, watery and harsh mineraly mouthfeel. Fair enough.

330ml bottle shared with Yngve at Agenturet Øl og Vinbar. Coal black body, good lacework on the glass from a remaining fawn-coloured head. Inviting aroma of dark malts and berry fruits. Well mixed taste profile of chocolate malts, dough, liquorice and late arrival of blueberries. Rounded mouth feel and good depth. Enjoying. An extra score for the name of the beer and the name of the Russian brewery. (Tromsø 21.10.2017).

At Borefts 2017. Aroma of blueberries, chocolate and cream. Taste has soft creamy caramel, flowers, chocolate and subtle blueberry. Would have liked more fruity flavor.
