Tap at the Alma. Alright, rye fun, but with less exciting stuff behind it. Feels strangely smooth. Little bit of stink about it, but taste is alright. Feel that the description above sounds nicer than the beer I had, but maybe it was beer fatigue at this stage.

1/3 pint draft @ White Hart Pub.

Bottle thanks to my wife. Amber with a white head that lasts well. Aroma of bread crusts, spiced oranges, some sweaty herbal notes. Moderately sweet with bread and mandarins. Quite bitter and spicy towards the end. Herbal notes are less prominent. The pepper is not obvious at first but creeps put of the rye spiciness nicely.

Keg at the Devonshire Cat, Sheffield, 20/05/16. Lightly hazed amber orange with a decent off white head. Nose is bitter orange, toasted grain, caramel, bitter hop fumes. Taste comprises orange pith, grain, light bread, faint spice, lemon rind, light tropical fruit esters. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, earthy hop bitterness in the close. Decent enough IPA.
