Evil Cousin IIPA with habaneros
We love the flavor of habanero peppers. The flesh has a beautiful tropical fruit note masked by the heat. OK, so we got really geeky about peppers and found out that the University of New Mexico bred a special habanero with no heat. So... we found the seeds, grew the pepper, and then skillfully blended hot habaneros with non-hot to make this amazingly balanced pepper beer. Yes, it still has a good amount of heat, but the flavor of the habanero comes through too. Yes, it is a lot to go through, but hey, this is how we roll.

Tap at Grub. Spice is nice. Little bit of grapefruit and orange. Decent spiciness. Not so much else. But I'm a bit of a sucker for the habanero. Boozy.

Golden blond beer, small head. Aroma is floral, fruity, slight peppery. Taste is pepper, pepper, pepper and oh, did i say pepper? its just too much, couldnt taste any other flavours in this.

DØE. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and light hoppy. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish with burning chili. 180517

Draught at KØ17. Fruity aroma. Almost clear golden colour. Small white head. The flavour starts off with a little veg. Asparagus. Then comes chili. Burns a bit but is not too bad. I do not really like vegetable or chili in most beers, though.

[ As Heretic Primo Diablo ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, pale malt, chili - chili fruity - herbal fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, chili, warm chili, pale malt, sweet malt, hot chili. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20170518] 7-2-6-3-11

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen (30/03/2017) - golden pour with white head. Aroma and taste is overt spicy, with big chilli hits, malty base, herbal and floral but the chilli spice is just to much for my palate.

Draft. A hazy yellow beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of chili, flowers, hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of chili that overpowers the rest except for some malt, leading to a bitter finish. I’m not a chili fan.
