Bottiglia.

Bottle from Waitrose in Canary Wharf. A rich and smooth English IPA that ticks all the correct boxes. There was a welcome emphasis on the malt and it made for an exceptional mouthfeel. Very nice and a perfect way to start the weekend.

Bottle from Beers of Europe, Kings Lynn. Pours amber with an average sized just off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, fruit and light floral notes. Medium plus sweetness, quite light bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Fruity, malty, moderately bitter and slightly soapy finish. Not especially keen on this one.
