Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Deep amber colour, bubbly white head and aroma of malt, fruit, honey. Taste is sweet malty, fruity, caramel, honey, molasses, raisins, with alittle bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, malty & honey at the finish. Nicely drinkable.

12/4/2025. Bottle courtesy of Boris, cheers! Pours clear dark amber brown with a small lasting frothy beige head. Aroma is fruit cake, dried fruits, toffee, honeycomb, flowers, brown bread. Medium sweetness, mild bitterness, touch tart. Medium body, smooth, soft carbonation. Really nice.

0,33 flaske delt med Bryne på en hyggelig aften på Bjørnøy: klar gyldenrød kobberfarge med fint skum som varer. Lynghonning (naturligvis!), urter, appelsiner/mandariner, et par hasselnøtter. Fint balansert bitterhet og lang, deilig ettersmak med mersmak, saftighet og akkurat passelig mye honningsødme.

Bottle. Bevog webshop. Dark brown, large nad lasting offwhite ehad. Nice aroma, mix of biscuits, bread, honey and sour cellar notes. Taste is sharp, bittery and very herbal. Some sweetness, honey-like in the finish, but not enough to balance it. Lasting aftertaste. Lighter body, alcohol is well hidden. Not my fav.

Keg at borefts. Pours deep ruby amber, nose is caramel, honey, woody, toffee, taste is similar, sweet, touch of cinnamon.
