Robustly full bodied with a glistening chestnut tint, the ale’s complex passion fruit and lychee tartness leaps forward, closely followed by a perfectly charming balance of fruit and malt on the finish.

500ml bottle: BBE November 2022. Drank at home while 'doing a BBQ' on 18th July 2022. Golden amber body, almost clear, on top a decent sized off-white cap. Nice Old School blend, like Bitter's used to taste like, malty with a subtle fruity hop undertone, no citrussy notes!

Half-pint, cask at The Savoy (JDW). Shared with Finn. Bright amber coloured body, bubbles to the rim of the surface, scattered lacing. Promising smell of leafy hops, mild malty sweetness to it. Fine mixed taste character of leafy hops, bite of caramel and resinous hop bitterness to the finish. Medium bodied. Well made bitter version. (Swindon 26.10.2019).
