Can at home, from Rad Beer, 13/01/21. Black with a well presented tan head that eventually dissipates to a swirl. Nose is roast malts, dark fruit rinds, figs, molasses, chocolate, toasted brown sugars. Taste comprises dark malts, big liquorice kiss, candied fruit rinds, hint of coffee, pinch of spice, dates, brown sugar melt, boozey tunes. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced kiss of alcohol. Solid Impy Stout ... straight up and not laden with adjuncts ... good old skool leaning affair. Obviously doesn't travel to Belgium well !
