Biohit Oyj on aloittanut yhteistyön Pyynikin käsityöläispanimon kanssa. Biohit on tuonut bioteknologian osaamistaan panimon tuotantoprosessiin. Yhteistyön tuloksena Pyynikin käsityöläispanimo tuo markkinoille kesän kuluessa Pyynikin Vapaa -nimisen oluen, jonka valmistuksessa on otettu huomioon kuluttajien toiveita. Tuote on muun muassa gluteeniton. Yhteistyö panimon kanssa on Biohitille uusi aluevaltaus ja avaa väylän myös muiden elintarvikkeiden tuotannon kehittämiselle.

330ml bottle shared with djoeye and Finn. Fair withe head, misty golden body, clingy lacing. Grassy hops on the nose, mid-sweet. Hops fruity flavours joined by moments of malty sweetness. Ends with a short note of citrus peels. Medium to thin bodied. Soft in the mouth. More or less average for the style. Okay. (Session at Finn’s, Tromsø 18.05.2017).

Gyldengul. Uklar. Middels høyt kritthvitt skum. Litt lacing. Lett klementinaroma. Smaken aprikos. For mye kullsyre. Tørr avslutning.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ Scooper Tasting ], Ulfborg, Denmark. [ As Pyynikin Vapaa Sessio IPA ].[ Courtesy of my Local Swap 2016-03 - VastActiv ]. Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, grass - dusty grass, light to moderate yeasty, light leather. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, pale malt, fruity malt - fruity yeast, citrus, thin. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170304] 6-3-5-3-10

Bottle 33 cl. Golden, cloudy with a minimal white head. Hoppy nose, with some grass. Light bitter with a metallic hoppy end. A bit watery.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are flowers, fruits, hops, malt and water. Nice bitter finish and a bit watery.

@Ulfborg Scooper. Clear golden, small white froth. Hoppy aroma, citrus, light malt. Lemony flavour, light malt. Finishes bitter, is a little thin.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Funny enough my first thought about the aroma is bell pepper, mild floral notes. Flavour is herbs,grass, grains and some herbal notes. Älyvapaa Sessio Ale... Sorry but no thanks.
