Creamy, dry stout, bitter and coffee-heavy with an abject refusal to indulge in any sweet chocolate pleasantries. Roasted malt and anise grow prominent on the back end with a slight cherry-raisin undercurrent. Seems a tad overcarbonated, but otherwise a perfectly good stout.
