Bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours clear dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of liquorice and dark fruit. Some chocolate and crunchie bar. Taste is light sweet, toffee, more chocolate, hint of smoke and leather. Decent.

Bottle thanks to Sean. Appearance - deep brown to black with red chinks. Tan head. Nose - Bovril, generally savoury. Taste - malt loaf, roasty and toffee. Palate - creamy in texture, light to medium bodied. Lightly roasty finish. Overall - a fairly standard porter but well made.
