Battalions of hops compliment a complex malt base to create this well balanced American Red Ale with an earthy, smooth flavour and notes of fierce orange and rich marmalade.
A rebellious style you don’t see too often, but one we love. This one’s for the disproportioned malcontents.

Keg at the Chelmsford Craft Beer Festival. Hazy deep amber beer, good cream colour head. Airy semi dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Airy malts, mildly sweet, a little thin cream and caramel. Ripeish tired fruits. Light finish. Fine, just needs something to brighten it up, quite a tired tasting amber.
