We have fermented the 500-year-old working class drink with yeast from a very special upper class origin. Unfortunately, due to trademark law reasons, we are not allowed to continue this. That's why we dedicate this unusual beer to the Great Ladies, as well as to the Bavarian and French monks who inspired us.

0,33 l bottle from Graeff Getränke, Hamburg. BB 01/2026. Cloudy bright orange golden in the glass, one finger light tannend head. Orange banana aroma, some alcoholic elements. low clove. Taste is also fruity, more orange than banana, yeasty, wheat with clove. Present alcoholic elements. Nice one.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 15.01.2024) im 2023-01 getrunken. Dieser hell bernsteinfarbende Bier ist überraschend ausgewogen was den Alkoholgehalt angeht. Bevor die Aromen von Bananen, fein säuerlicher Hefe und etwas Karamell deutlich werden muß dieser Weizenbock auf Raumtemperatur kommen. Ein richtig schönes Bier!

Bouteille, recolte 2019 (Great Garching Gift!): Hazy, orangey coloured, medium-sized white head, sourish-sweet fruity nose of wheat, cloves and yeast with both a vinous and a cellary, lambic-like touch; moderate sourish-bitter flavour, medium bodied, soft nevertheless; lingering dryish vinous and wheaty-yeasty finish with - again - a cellary touch. Not too convincing...
