A proper India Pale Ale. Floral notes with a pleasant citrus feel. Not over hopped, a true IPA.

4/4/2021. Bottle shared at the first post-lockdown Ipswich beer share. From the brewery direct. Poured slightly hazy dark gold with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is earthy, fruity, berries, malt, flowers, grass, apricot. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation. Bitter earthy finish. Solid performing beer.

Bottle. Ferndale garden centre, Coal Aston, near Sheffield. Pale amber. Soft haze. Thick, sudsy, off white head. Nose has perfumed flora. Runny honey. Some apricot jam. Very bath salt like, in a decent way. Taste is semi sweet, with a floral bitterness. Light to medium body, with a clean mouthfeel. Perfume like, bitter finish. Decent, and certainly a lot better than the first I had from this brewer.

On cask at Coach and Horses, Dronfield - Hazy amber body, thick lacing white head. Nose is a gentle citrus, with a big caramel backdrop. Taste is a little cloying, but has a pretty decent bitter ending that seems to make you forget this.
