Keg at Mikkeller, Vik. It pours jet black with a tiny tan head. The aroma is rich, sweet, sticky, chewy, rich roast, bourbon, chocolate, maltesers, toffee, coffee and dries dried fruit. The is rich, slick, rich roasted, crazy sweet, chocolate cake vibe, toffee, sweet bourbon, vanilla, coffee beans, chewy, oak, dried fruits, plum, date and toasty action with a firmly sweet finish. Fulsome body, fine carbonation and chewy, oily mouth - feel. Pretty tasty for a small pour, but it is rather sweet!

Tap@Mikkeller Vik, Copenhagen - black pour with tan head. Very sweet malty aroma and taste, only a hint of roast, chocolate, caramel, dark dried fruit, bourbon soaked wooden notes, lovely vanilla nuances into the close. Sweet but this works for me, gorgeous.

The beer is black, wall to wall. Smallish light brown head. Some lacing. The aroma is big on vanilla and chocolate. Fairly fudgey. Hints of fruity sweetness. Very light roast. Taste is sweet with more of the fruit flavor. Lots of vanilla. Pretty good bit of milk chocolate. Round feel, not terribly thick. Good beer.

On tap at the brewery. It pours black with a tan head. The aroma is rich and roasted with s’mores, coffee, and light notes of dark fruit. The flavor is fruity with more rich fig notes, brown sugar and sweet heavy cream. A little coffee and toast in there too. Marshmallows. No bitterness. Wow, this was good.
