12/12/2020. Bottle sample courtesy of saxo/fonefan. Pours very dark brown with a small bubbly short lasting beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark fruit, burnt toffee, coffee, chocolate, touch of liquorice and nut. Moderate sweetness and medium roasted bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Nice, though the other two I tried from this series edged it.

ABV: 8.5%. Clear dark brown colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, coffee, strong coffee, coffee funnel, vegetable coffee, dark malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, dark malt, coffee, chocolate, coffee dusty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20201205]

Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finsh. Oily palate. Coffee notes.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Almost black with a small beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and coffee. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. Oily. 051220

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Medium head with medium duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich green coffee beans, roast malt, vegetables, chocolate, caramel, hops and has a nice long coffee finish.
