Bottle. Pours clear reddish copper hazel, large beige head, dissipates fairly quickly, decent lacing. Aroma is Belgian spice, Candi sugar, toffee, a touch of grass, raisin, dust. Flavors is medium sweet, light bitter. Merlin body, fairly high carbonation. Decent.

Bottle at their taproon in Bucharest. Classic dubbel pour, frothy and irregular off-White foam. Nose is firmly raisins, molasses, mild in a way and gently softer than a regular dubbel (+). Mouth is thinner and medium-bodied, although mirrors the nose magnificently. Tasty one...

BOTTLE 33 CL from the brewer. Cloudy mahogany, diminishing beige head. The aroma is unripe dark fruit, subtle notes of toasted grains and some spice, maybe some barely detectable alcohol. The taste is only lightly sweet, some fruity esters and a little bit of dark bread crust, light spice and moderate warming alcohol. Nice and tame, clean, no complaints - but you don't get the full on rich maltiness of a strong Belgian dark, if you expect it. Otherwise, a good clean easy drinking dry-ish Belgian brune.
