Expertly roasted by our friends at Pelicano Coffee, Rwandan *Bourbon* varietal coffee beans from the edge of volcanic Lake Kivu erupt with blueberries, hazelnut praline, and vanilla ice cream mouthfeel. Dirty Joe is nothing of the sort, a smooth rich, white coffee stout.

Draft at the brewery. Poured a clear golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is big spicy coffee. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, spicy coffee, sweet vanilla palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. It’s nice and the commercial description really talks the beer up well, but at the end of the day it’s just coffee and sugar.
