Opaque dark brown beer, big fluffy tan head. Soft palate with very mild carbonation. Soft dark malts, rich dark chocolate and modest coffee. Dark malt cream. A little chocolate fudge. Soft tangy dark fruits underneath. Finishes soft. Rich but a bit stodgy with it’s low carbonation.

Bottle procured from the Pigs Ear Beer Festival, 2015. Pours black with a light tan head. Aromas of Turkish delight, dark chocolate, dark roast coffee, cola and licorice. Rich, warming flavours of dark chocolate, more coffee, dried dark fruit, vanilla, licorice and a splash of hot spice. Warm, velvety mouthfeel. Moderate alcohol burn. Quite a boozy finish. Tasty stuff indeed.
