Cask at The Albion, Winchester. 16/12/16. Asked the barman what style of beer it was (label just mentioned ’dark ale’), but he said he didn’t drink beer and didn’t know. Added as an Old Ale as it seems to be an update of Pastures Old. Enjoyable malts and cheap chocolate aroma Extremely dark chestnut. Thin frothy head. Sweet - dark chocolate and malts. Light bodied, a tad watery. However I really enjoyed it.
