Dark brown color, good brownish head. Strong hazelnut aroma, also vanilla and toasted notes. Medium to full-bodied. Sweetish front with lots of hazelnut, coffee and notes of vanilla beans. A bit harsh, roasted finish.

Bottled@AIH66 Beer Session (from Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is nutty, chocolaty, some vanilla and quite much toasted toffee as well. Flavour is roasted malts, some vanilla, chocolate, toasted nutty notes as well as some bitterness. Very nice aroma, but flavour has a slight bit too much ash and bitterness for my taste.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours black with dense beige head. Aroma of roasted coconuts, vanilla, dark chocolate, nuts, milk coffee, some alcohol, smoke. Tastes bitter and sweet, medium bodied, smooth mouth feel, slightly bitter and roasted finish.

On tap at Cardinal Pub Bar, Stavanger, as Cervisiam Hans Trapp Juleporter. Black colour, large tan head, nice lacing. Overwhelming aroma of roasted hazelnuts and vanilla. The flavour is not too sweet, but dominated by roasted hazelnuts, also vanilla. Too much of the good stuff, really, but a nice experiment.

Kommentar: WOW... Fire mann fra "Bryne avholdslag" var på VP Bryne neste ukedag for å sikre seg noen ekstra flasker av dette. Tror første mann stod og klorte på døra de de åpnet. Dette var godt. Gleder meg å prøve ei ny om en tid.

Fra flaske på Cardinal DSJT nov-16: brunsvart med ok skum. Mmm, herlig aroma og smak hvor vanilje, lyse dessertsjokolader og sjokoladepålegg ligger langt fremme i bildet. Snop fra begynnelse til slutt, og heldigvis med et anstrøk av bærsyrlighet mot slutten.
