Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, walnuts, walnut peel, sweet wood, wood. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, sugary, walnuts, wood - walnut peel. Clear brown, small offwhite head. Malty aroma plus something herbal or like wet leaves. Malty, slightly metallic flavour. Walnuts appear later on. Sourish, bitter and dry.

bottle from morten. clear brown, smooth offwhite head. nutty and dark caramelly aroma, with a note that resembles slightly sour wood. flavor is malts, nuts, chestnuts, the chestnuts adds a sort of smoked flavor that makes the beer more interesting. Aftertaste is lost of chestnut, almost as if you had just eaten one. An interesting beer from skovlyst, which a sold dose of taste.

From tap. Pours cloudy amber to brown to brown with a small tan head. Aroma is fruity and toasted malty. Toasted malty, nutty and slight herbal. Dry, bitter and wooden walnuts. Dry and toasted far finish.
