To celebrate Oktoberfest we have brewed a Munich style märzen, with the addition of Vienna malt. Märzen is a traditional Bavarian style of beer thought to date back 500 years.

Keg at Brewhouse & Kitchen Dorchester. Deep amber to copper with a thick off-white head and a light fizz. Brown bread, malt and caramel, a hint of grassy hops. Pretty decent (although anything would have gone down well after the gopping pumpkin beer I'd had just before!).
