Ever wanted to make like Alice and enter a wonderland of your own? Well, to that we say ‘drink me’. This doppelbock is your golden ticket to a prelapsarian forest full of apples. Well… we did already pick those apples and baked it into a creamy Austrian pastry with vanilla, raisins and cinnamon. We used the best german malts and hops to get down this rabbit hole. Drink this portion and you’ll soon be consulting caterpillars, organizing mad tea parties and playing croquet with the queen. Yes, wonderland is yours for the taking. Just don’t lose your head down there.

Best before 08/24, buying it at Amstein. Opening it tonight at home, staying for one time at time, due to a grey and cloudy day. Perfect doppelbock that it is more an imperial stout, really smooth and sweet, smooth roasty malt, chocolate, vanilla, syrupy.

330ml. Vintage 2023. Dark brown colour, small off-white head. Raisins, dark malts, touch of soya sauce. Medium to full-bodied. Raisins, dates, dark malts, touch of soya sauce, light alcohol, some apple-like fruityness. Smooth with excellent drinkability.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is strong apple pie, spicy cinnamon, dark malt, caramel, and raisins. Flavour is sweet with a little bitterness in the finish. Body is medium to full. Liquid Apfelstrudel indeed, well done!

Аромат нежный и в то же время яркий, ощущается не резкий алкоголь, немного карамели жареной как на леденце, хлеб с нотками дрожжей, также есть пряности, вроде корицы и гвоздики, и немного меда, запах в целом очень солодовый. Цвет темно коричневый, пена средняя, быстро падает. Вкус с алкогольной ноткой, сразу бросается сладость, карамель но уже не паленая, снова много солода и пряностей, особенно корицы. При глотке сильная кислинка и легкая хмелевая сухость, но практически вообще без горчинки. Приятно согревает горло. Хлеб есть но очень слабый, также карамель плавно уходит на второй план. В целом не типичный доппельбок, есть даже сходства с барливайном. Отличная пивоварню.

Caramel malty aroma. Dark red color, long beige head. High sweetness, bitter finish. Medium to full body, slick texture. A little too sweet.

Bottle 0,33 ltr: Dark brown colored brew with an red glow. Sweet bitter hints and some booziness, hints of apfelkorn, apple pie and other sweet apple things.
