Working in an industry that is supposed to get tips for racehorses, I can say tips don't come in. If you live on chance look elsewhere. Pale clear golden with a small head. Has a bitterness but is more hoppy. A little watery too but not a problem.

Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. A new brewer for me! Rich gold with a thin off-white head. A light prickle of fizz - it's in pretty decent nick actually. Dry hay, oaty biscuits and a growing lemon and grapefruit citric bite. Maybe a tad thin but not bad considering the low abv. Crisp, moderately bitter finish. Decent stuff.

Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. A bright straw coloured pour with a thin white head; grainy aroma; smooth in the mouth with a grainy taste and a light hedgerow bitterness; then a dry bitter finish. A pleasant golden ale.

Pint at Castle In The Air, Trafford. A bit thin but not bad for a lunchtime pint before a rugby match.

Cask handpull at The County Hotel JDW Ashford. Clear gold colour lasting cream head. Decent golden ale. Some dryness on the finish. Some pale malt flavour. Some pink grapefruit on the aroma. It's a pretty good golden ale. Yep drinkable.
