On tap at tap Bastille. Pours a clear orange copper with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has notes of earthy citrus and rye with a touch of grass backing. Flavor has the same rye earthy citrus combination with a hint of grass backing.

On tap at the Bellingham brewery. Rather dark for the style, even for a rye IPA. Sharp fairly harsh woody bitterness. Hop bite and decent malt character. Aggressive.

Sample at Tap House Grill. The beer is a slightly hazy dark orange color with a medium off-white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of fruit, floral hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of rye malt, hops and fruit. The finish is mildly spicy rye and hops. Decent overall.

Draught at the brewery
Amber color, hazy. After many alternative styles, we go back into the classic PNW brewing, and this beer nails it, with plenty of piney hops and a good malt and rye backbone, good body strength, light residual sweetness.
Pedestrian but good.

Bright, toasty with a dash of rich, caramelly rye. Clean, taste rye and a berryish, fruity hop (light orange).

On tap at Wander, pours a cloudy dull copper yellow with a small white head. Aroma is super floral, with lots of fruity hops. Flavour reveals lots of rye, earthy hops, and dry crackery malt. Quite harsh, as rye IPAs often are. Good, but a little difficult to drink.

Draft - Sweet grapefruit and caramel malts. Clear gold with a decent white head. Resinous, light grapefruit hops and a very dry finish. Not much rye flavors.
