Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a yellow-golden color with a huge creamy white head that lingers forever and left incredible lacing. The aroma was light sweet sugar and citrus. The flavor was dry, tart and dust with light lemon and cardboard. Medium finish and body. Not good.

On tap at WBF-Raleigh on 04/24/2010 as Rust Belt Blond. Clear golden body with a small white head. Sweet toasty aroma with some floral notes. Sweet floral and light toasty flavor. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

This beer, which was simply called rust belt blonde, was on tap at the Vintage Estates. Not available in bottles like its brother. It is of significant import. Looks like, an ever so slighty hazy, yellow pale lager with a big white foamy head which settled after a few minutes. Aroma is yeasty perhaps with some vanilla background. At first there was barely any carbonation but I think it grew more tingly as the session continued and became almost creamy between the gums. Pretty smooth beer. Fun with just a tad of bitterness to let you know it is beer. Never overwhelming. Very kind to the taste buds for a lager lover. Overall good freindly beer expereince, thanks Rust belt, Phil & Co.
