Cask gravity at Pigs Ear 2016. It pours black with a bubbly tan head. The aroma is soft, sweet, rich roasted malt, chocolate cake, creamy, toasty, brown sugar and malt loaf. The taste is smooth, rich roasted malt, dark chocolate, chocolate cake, umami, liquorice, earthy, wood, leather and ashy with a dry, umami finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Rather quaffable. Smooth.

Cask gravity at Pigs Ear Festival 2016. Black beer lasting tan head. Attractive dark malt aroma with some dark fruits in there too. Touch of tar. Good dark chocolate. Good dark chocolate beer .

Cask gravity at the pigs ear beer fest 2016. A dark black coloured pour with a lasting loose mid tan head. Aroma is ashy roast, dark berries, burnt wood, Figgy pudding. Flavour is composed of burnt brown sugars, ash, dried fruits, ash, unrefined sugars. Lingering harsh bitter roast. Palate is thick oily, lowish carbonation. Really punchy.
