Picked up this can at the brewery. This American Double IPA (as written on the can) pours a clean amber colour with a frothy warm cap, good retention and some foamy dirty lacing. Fresh smells of an IIPA with the grassy hops and rich citrus notes, especially oranges and hints of honey. The mouth is bitter and pretty dry. Deep grassiness with the citrus and a mild caramel malt base. Loads of particles of all sizes do appear in the next pour. Well-brewed and for those who really like very hoppy Imperial IPAs.

Pours a slightly hazy, golden yellow, with big, pillowy, lasting head. Aroma is grassy and resinous, with some pine/spruce hops. Flavor is quite bitter, with pine/spruce hops in the forefront. Some breadiness, some grassy flavors. Bitter finish.

Can, undated, purchased and drunk 5/25/17.
Lightly-to-moderately hazy, straw-blonde body with a good-sized, white head that shows moderate retention.
Lightly juicy pineapple mixes with leafy, lightly spicy, green hop notes and there’s surprisingly little of the strong woody character that often comes with this hop. Nope, this is definitely done really well, the hops obviously being very fresh, and reminds me of why this hop got popular in the first place. Malts are fairly sparse, but there’s still enough there to balance, even if not much is required of it. No alcohol, flaw or resin with very light biscuit and honey. Lots of juicy fruit here; really surprised how much they got out of it.
Soft in the mouth with a bit of sweat and woody character, but the malt easily overcoming it, adding light honey and a very supple texture, alongside tight carbonation. Nicely balanced, low bitterness and lightly juicy pineapple and nectarine through the middle with low but ample bitterness. Spicy, green, fresh hop notes and light honey-like maltiness linger with no resin, alcohol or flaw.

16 oz. can, sent from wilco (thanks a lot, Mike!), pours an opaque cloudy golden with a medium foamy white head with good retention. Aroma brings out lots of lovely zesty dry hopping and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is bright and wonderfully bitter, with a lovely citrus zesty hop character, light spiciness and crisp biscuity malt backbone. Impeccably balanced, with tons of depth and exceedingly high drinkability. What a fantastic beer.

16 oz can, thnk you ClarkVV! Nearly transparent yellow with full white head. Notes of pine, dank weed, citrus fruits, earthy grain. Amarillo is alive and kicking in this drinkability. Pine balanced by malt, citrus, grainy. Very, very good

Can shared by Mike, thanks for the opportunity! Earthy tropical on the nose with lots of juicy fruity citrus and faint pine flavor. Bready lightly sweet maltiness provides a light backbone for this hoppy beverage. Great easy drinking hoppy pale ale!

Can. Big thanks to Leighton for the gift of this can! Light haze on this yellowish gold beer, small bubbly cream colour head. Smooth malts, mildly sweet. Mild hop spice. Spicy orange and lemon. Modest pine. Smooth semi dry finish brings mild hop spice. Tangy citric linger. It’s nice enough but has an overall hollow feel.

Pours yellow, straw golden. Aroma is super fresh, clean and grassy. Not much fruit, maybe some melon. Taste has more of the grassy-leafy things going on. Lime leaves? Nice bitter tickle. Sip of awesomeness.
