Bottle 500ml. @ [ oh6gdx house - Vasa ]. [ As Iso-Kallan Salmiakki Porter ].Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, salmiak licorice, licorice. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, dark malt, licorice, salmiak licorice. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160710] 8-3-7-3-15

Miltei musta olut runsaalla ja hyvin tiiviillä beigellä vaahdolla. Kaunis olut. Tuoksu on leipäinen, paahteinen ja salmiakkinen. Maku makean maltainen ja siirappinen sekä salmiakkinen. Suupielet tahmean makeaksi saava olut on keskitäyteläinen ja keskiasteisesti hiilihappoinen. Ulkonäkö paras, tuoksu ihan ok ja maku turhan yksiulotteinen. Silti ihan jännä.

Bottled (from Alko). Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is nice salted liquorice with mild aniselike notes as well. Flavour is salted liquorice, some roasted notes, mild smoked wood as well as some mild sweet berry jam.

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Near black. Aroma of pear, licorice, tar and menthe. Mid sweet with medium-full body and rounded mouthfeel. Pears dipped in salmiak and menthe. Low bitterness. Peculiar, but tasty.

Bottle 0.5l at home, Nivala. BBE 12/2016. Colour is almost black with slightly brownish white head. Aromas and flavours: Some licorice, smoke, dryness and roasted malts. Needs more licorice and malty body.

500ml Bottle - Very dark brown. Salmiakki, mint and plain chocolate in the aroma. Rich taste with salmiakki, after eight chocolates and plain chocolate. Some earthy notes can be detected in the finish.

A colablack beer with a medium and beige head. Aroma has ryebready maltyness. some salt liquirice, strong sweetness in the background. Taste has berries, some roastiness. Medium bodied. Weird and unbalanced beer. The focus is totally missing.

(Bottle, 0.5 l - #352 - BBE 12/2016, 20160212) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had salty liquorice and burnt malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were salty liquorice, burnt malts, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste had salty liquorice and bitterness. A unpleasant combination of flavours.

50cl bottle. Pours black in color with a thin brown head, light carbonation. Salty, berryish, light licorice on the nose. Flavor has burntness, ashy notes, salty licorice, molasses. Thin, empty finish. Quite weird. I would have liked more Salmiakki here. Ash tray in finish.
