500ml bottle from my local Morrison's, drank at Auntie Sue's on 15th November 2025. Deep amber colour, off white crust. Malty and spiced feel, slight ginger undertone, great for the price and one of the better 'Christmas Beers' around so far this year that I've tried.

A faint, fruity, malty aroma. Amber-brown, clear. Small, creamy head. A slightly spicy flavour of dried fruit, syrupy consistency, with a tart fruitiness of cherries and plums. Ginger is barely perceptible. Then orange peel with a light spicy note, adding a touch of dryness. A pleasant, subtly spicy, winter beer. OK.

Cask at Swan, Farnborough. Vague fruity, malty aroma. Ginger? An amber brown. Blotchy frothy white head. Light bitter. Some sweetness. Another gnger based Chrisymas beer. Need to check ABV but is this Yule Log again? Light to medium bodied. Watery but slick. Average arb. Long astrigent finish. OK. Considering I don't like ginger I'll still finish it.

Cask at the Rose & Crown, Sandhurst. A chestnut colour with a thin cream head; lightly spiced purple fruit aroma; a syrupy body, with a sour fruity taste - cherries and plums; then a smooth fruity finish with a light spicy edge giving some dryness. A pleasant, subtly spiced, winter beer - I suspect there may have been a change in recipe this year, based on the earlier reviews.

Cask at the Hare and Billet, Blackheath. Reddish-amber pour with a white head. Aromas of banana, caramel.. lots of sweet fruit in there. Flavours of sweet spice, caramel, ginger and bitter orange. Quite a sweet finish.
